"I like to joke that when Shirley MacLaine was out on a limb, I was already out on a branch," says Oscar- nominated actress, teacher, healer, and motivational speaker Diane Ladd. She brings her unique wisdom about life, health, love, family, and emotional well-being to this fascinating book.

Reading this book is like having a cup of coffee in her comfy Austin, Texas, kitchen. In an earthy, charming, down-home way filled, with touching, moving, and downright hilarious observations and stories, this book explains how you can keep your life from spiraling out of control.

"I want to help save lives with this book," Diane says. "I feel that the ultimate gift is helping another person find the miracles that surround them."

Diane Ladd is internationally acclaimed as a three-time Oscar nominee, three-time Emmy nominee, and the recipient of 23 awards, which include the British Academy Award, the Independent Spirit Award, and a Golden Globe. She’s been heralded by Time magazine as “one of the ten top actresses, not only in this country, but in the whole world.” Diane and her daughter, Laura Dern, made show-business history as the only mother/daughter in tandem to be nominated for an Oscar in the same film (Wild at Heart).

Diane is an actress, writer, director, nutritional consultant, lecturer, healer, and ordained minister. She can entertain you; and if something makes you sick, she can heal you. And if that doesn’t work, she can bury you! She’s a very good friend to have!.

Diane is a member of the Board of Advisors for the National Foundation of Alternative Medicine, having worked with many notable doctors for more than 20 years. She’s a lifetime member of the famed Actors Studios actors, directors, and playwrights unit; and she’s a National Board member of the Screen Actors Guild.
