In this truly inspirational audio book, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down-overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience (NDE) where she realized her inherent worth . . . and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was released from the hospital within weeks-without a trace of cancer in her body!

Anita had been pushed and pulled by cultural and religious customs since she was a little girl. After years of struggling to forge her own path while trying to meet everyone else's expectations, she had the realization, as a result of her epiphany on the other side, that she had the power to heal herself . . . and that there are miracles in the Universe that she'd never even imagined.

In Dying to Be Me, Anita freely shares all she has learned about illness, healing, fear, "being love," and the true magnificence of each and every human being!

There are so many reason I love this book! It's read by Anita Moorjani, who has such an angelic, calming voice. She takes you along her journey and really pulls you in. It's hard to stop listening! Anita reminds your human brain and ego what's truly important. Of course I expected her to talk about her NDE experience but what I didn't expect was that the book would literally change my life. I've felt lost for a while not knowing what my life purpose is but I had the biggest revelation and aha moment. I now have clarity on the direction I want to take my life. Thank you Anita for choosing to come back into this physical life and teach us so many wonderful lessons. Because of you, I can begin the mission I came here to do!

This book is beautifully written, with much attention paid toward providing a solid background and understanding into who Anita was as a child and young woman before she experienced her near death experience. I especially appreciate her willingness to share her innermost childhood worries and struggles, and draw parallels between the critical views she held of herself and the health crisis that led to her NDE. She gives a detailed account of her NDE and provides full disclosure to the reader of the messages she received as a result. Anita is careful not to project her views on the reader; she is simply relaying her life experiences as they occurred for her, but her confidence regarding the meaning behind her health demise and resulting NDE is so reassuring to me. I had always been afraid to die, but after reading this story, I feel comforted and much less afraid. I LOVE the audio book version; listening to Anita takes me way back to reading circle in elementary school- my favorite. Anita is an authentic, caring, compassionate woman with an amazing story- I recommend this book to anyone who is facing his/her own mortality or that of a loved one. The reassurance she provides regarding life after death is invaluable.
