    Danna Korn is the author of Kids with Celiac Disease: A Family Guide to Raising Happy, Healthy, Gluten-Free Children. As an official spokesperson for celiac disease awareness, she appears frequently on national and local TV and radio, and is featured in newspaper and magazine articles. She has written dozens of articles on gluten-free living that have been published in national magazines and newspapers, and she speaks frequently around the country to health care professionals, celiacs, parents of celiacs, parents of autistic kids involved in a gluten-free/casein-free dietary intervention program, and others on a gluten-free diet. Danna has been researching celiac disease since her son, Tyler, was diagnosed with the condition in 1991. That same year, she founded R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Celiac Kids), a support group for families of children on a gluten-free diet. Today, Danna leads more than 70 chapters of R.O.C.K. throughout the country, inspiring others to help parents of newly diagnosed celiac, allergic, or autistic kids. R.O.C.K. recently became a nonprofit corporation and funds research, free celiac testing, gluten-free food donations, and awareness programs. Danna and her husband, Paul, own and operate a high-tech recruiting firm called SearchNet Technical Recruiting, specializing in software engineering and computer professionals. They live in Encinitas, California, with their children, Tyler and Kelsie.
