Everything you’ve been taught about
your body is wrong.
You need to know the truth about your fabulous female form. It will forever change how you feel about your body and care for your health from this moment on.
If you’re a woman—whether you’re 19 or 90—you likely believe that something is “wrong” with your body, or that it’s only a matter of time before something goes wrong. But this is entirely untrue.
For ages, women have been shamed and misinformed about their bodies—and this legacy has been handed down to us for millennia. This permeates not only our culture at large but also the entire medical system, where normal functions of the female body have become pathologized and medicalized. We have been alienated from understanding our bodies, and our beliefs about our worthiness have taken a plunge.
Christiane Northrup, M.D. is here to change that and help you radically transform your health. “I walked a very fine line for many years,” she says about her medical career, before breaking from mainstream medicine to speak the truth about women’s wellness. And in this course, she pulls no punches. She dives straight into the truth about women’s health and everything you need to know to not only maintain your physical body, but to flourish throughout your life. Because health isn’t just about the physical. It’s also about tapping into your creativity and inner wisdom, discovering things you enjoy in order to create a truly sweet life, and recognizing that many beliefs you hold about yourself and your body simply aren’t true. Be advised! You may never have heard this information before from Dr. Northrup. And you need to now!
In her comprehensive and mesmerizing eight lessons, Dr. Northrup will discuss everything you ever wanted to know—and absolutely need to learn—about your body. You’ll discover:
- How the moon relates to your feminine cycles and why you are a lunar creature
- How to best take care of your breasts
- The gift of your fertility—even beyond your childbearing years
- Your female erotic anatomy and how to reclaim your innate erotic nature
- How to step into your wisdom years with a profoundly new understanding about menopause
What You'll Learn
Lesson 1: Our Cultural Inheritance
There was a time when the female body was worshipped as sacred, and men and women lived in partnership. But over the ages, our culture slowly changed from egalitarian to patriarchal, and women’s beliefs about their bodies and worthiness shifted along with it. Normal functions of the female body became pathologized and medicalized—and from childhood, girls develop an inherited sense of shame. In this lesson, Dr. Northrup discusses the impact of this cultural inheritance, and why so many women’s health problems are caused purely by our belief system. You’ll learn how your emotions and thoughts affect your body, and why physical illness is rooted in emotional pain. “Every single one of us has inherited beliefs that don’t serve us,” Dr. Northrup says. “And if we can be honest about these beliefs, we can transform them.”
Lesson 2: The Moon, the Menstrual Cycle, and Your Lunar Nature
Women are lunar creatures. We cycle with the moon and the tides. In this fascinating lesson, Dr. Northrup explains how the menstrual cycle is “one of the most exciting and mystical things about the female body.” She helps you discover the importance of living in harmony with, and connecting to, the moon. You’ll learn why fibroids are tied to creativity, how PMS and Seasonal Affective Disorder are messages you want to listen to, and natural ways to heal what Dr. Northrup calls “solar imbalances,” including menstrual cramps, endometriosis, and adhesions. While we live in a “solar” culture that can make us feel like we have to be on the go and shining like the sun at all times, Dr. Northrup shows you how you can step into your true power by embracing your lunar nature.
Lesson 3: Breast Health: Giving and Receiving
Most women have been taught that breast health means breast-cancer screening—a “search-and-destroy” approach that is widely practiced in medicine. However, as Dr. Northrup explains, disease screenings tend to find things “you will die with but never die from.” In this lesson, you’ll learn the best tests for your breasts (they might actually not be what you think!) as Dr. Northrup teaches you how to take matters of your breast health into your own hands. The body is incredibly self-healing—but you must start by looking for health instead of disease. She also explores the power of the heart chakra and shares some remarkable practices to promote healthy breasts and love yourself even more.
Lesson 4: Sexuality and Erotic Anatomy
Sexuality is intimately connected to spirituality: your body is a vehicle for expressing your spirit, which comes through as sexual energy. In this lesson, Dr. Northrup will teach you all about your female erotic anatomy (which has not yet even been included in medical textbooks) and help you reclaim your innate erotic nature. You’ll learn how your body, specifically your vagina, is a powerful barometer for Life Force, and why intercourse is extremely healing. You’ll discover the basics of “self-cultivation 101,” and the best methods—and tools—to reach orgasm on your own. This lesson will teach you why reconnecting with your erotic anatomy is a critical part of your healthcare.
Lesson 5: Fertile Forever: Understanding and Reclaiming Your Fertility
Fertility applies to you no matter what your age—and it’s a gift within you whether or not you decide to have children. Emphasizing that “your relationship with your fertility needs to be as clear as your relationship with your bank account,” Dr. Northrup teaches you how to chart your cycle so you’ll know when you’re fertile—whether you want to conceive or avoid pregnancy. You’ll learn about five essential preconception nutritional supplements she recommends, as well as better understand assisted reproductive technologies and how to improve their success rate. Dr. Northrup also addresses the risks and benefits of current birth control options as well as the myths, or “cultural portals,” surrounding pregnancy in a woman’s 30s and 40s. By the end of this lesson, you’ll recognize without a doubt that your greatest fertility years are ahead of you.
Lesson 6: Pregnancy, Labor, and Birth
Mothering is the most important job in the world—and you don’t have to have a child to do this. As Dr. Northrup underscores, the importance of “mothering yourself” cannot be overstated. In this lesson, Dr. Northrup explains why everything starts with mother—including how healthy your relationships are. She explains why pregnancy, labor, and birth are spiritual processes, not just physical ones. Debunking mainstream myths about pregnancy and labor, she shows you how to set yourself up for a healthy delivery. Dr. Northrup also shares the alarming facts you need to know about maternity care, elective labor inductions, and the effects of birth interventions. You’ll also learn about the mechanics and benefits of vaginal birth, the importance of mother-infant bonding, and the link between breastfeeding and immunity.
Lesson 7: Menopause and Beyond: The Springtime of the Second Half of Your Life
“Everything you’ve been taught about growing older and going through menopause is wrong,” Dr. Northrup says in this eye-opening lesson on menopause and beyond. In actuality, menopause is a process where you enter your wisdom years—it’s not only a time of great creativity, but also one of enormous emotional healing so that you can move into the next phase of your life unencumbered. Dr. Northrup reveals everything you need to know about perimenopause and menopause, covering the real reasons for mood changes, the importance of your ovaries, and the crucial factors you must understand about hysterectomies—one of the most common surgical procedures in the U.S. You’ll also learn the best options for hormonal support and discover how to maintain strong bones and radiant skin for the rest of your life.
Lesson 8: The Flourishing Lifestyle: Support Your Body for a Lifetime
In this final lesson, Dr. Northrup shares the type of lifestyle that will support your body for the rest of your life—and some factors are sure to surprise you. Revealing all the components you need to have a truly “sweet life” and vibrant health, she addresses everything from the power of sunlight to how resistance flexibility can drastically change your body. You’ll learn about the grave effect of sugar and stress hormones on your body and your mood as Dr. Northrup teaches you about glycemic stress and insulin resistance in an easy-to-understand way. You’ll also discover the healing power of whole, organic foods, and the importance of rituals of pleasure and celebration. This lesson is sure to uplift and inspire you with many practical ways to help you feel better and flourish in your femininity, today and forever.

Excellent course! I have followed Dr. Northrup for many years and I have had much training in functional nutrition / medicine and was amazed at the number of things I learned from this informative and empowering course. I look forward to sharing it with my teenage niece so she can learn to love her body and embrace being a female.

I'm taking time in the middle of the 2nd lesson to stop and write a review. I am a nurse and also very versed in functional medicine (which is opposite of our current failed medical paradigm of today which relies on old patriarchal views of women AND in giving lifelong symptom treatment from Big Pharma instead of looking at the mind-body causes and cures), yet I have learned so much already in this course. As just a taste of what you will learn, she teaches that circumcision was actually created by science and not from religion since religion has always been at odds with science. Instead, circumcision came about when Dr. Kellogg (the corn flakes creator) wrote a paper on it. He said that young boys would defile themselves with masturbation unless they had circumcision. He recommended doing it without anesthetic so that they would surely remember the pain and it would keep them from defiling their bodies with masterbation throughout their lives. As well, to keep little girls from masturbating (defiling THEIR bodies) he recommended putting a drop of pure carbolic acid on their little baby clitoris's! This is so typical of men's thinking in our world. She also teaches anatomy and how women are taught to be ashamed of our bodies and how we are told that our menses and menopause are illnesses and dirty. She teaches so much that is positive about our bodies as well, even if men have taught us the opposite for so long. I was even shocked that Dr. Northrup was taught in medical school that only the worst doctors with poor grades ever enter the field of gynecology where they would then take care of the lowest of the low: women. Amazing. She chose to enter the field anyway. Although I am mentioning many negatives, please do remember that Dr. Northrup is quite positive and mostly is just letting us know where the current system of thinking originates (from men). It's amazing and she is as funny and as interesting as ever. This is an amazing lesson and it just gets better as you go along.
